REFUND POLICY
Please ensure you have fully read, agree and understand the terms of this policy before purchasing.
All sales are final but attendance may be transferred with prior approval from one event to another with an administration fee that will be charged as follows:
It is a $50 fee to transfer from one event to another 4 weeks or more from the event.
It is a $75 fee to transfer from one event to another 3 weeks from the event.
It is a $200 fee to transfer from one event to another 2 weeks prior to the event.
If you are a flex pass holder there is no fee to transfer from one event to another if you are more than 2 weeks away from the event.
If you are a flex pass holder it is $100 to transfer from one event to another 2 weeks prior to the event. There are no transfers or credits provided if you are within the week of the event for both non flex pass and flex pass holders.
Please ensure you have fully read, agree and understand the terms of this policy (the “Policy”) before purchasing, as any purchase shall constitute acceptance of the terms of this Policy.
Constructive Home Solutions Inc. (CHS) makes all reasonable attempts to assist clients in good faith and to make reasonable arrangements with services providers (the “Providers” or “Provider”, as the case may be) including but not limited to venues, accommodations, and transportation. Notwithstanding the foregoing or any other provision contained herein, CHS will not be held liable for any damages or losses resulting from war, insurrection, acts of God, inclement weather, negligence, cancellations, service interruptions, or any other cause of disruption, delay, or hindrance including those arising as a result of the Provider. The client shall indemnify and save harmless CHS from any and all actions, manner of actions, causes of actions, liabilities, claims and demands, suits, damages, losses or injuries, expenses or otherwise, including reasonable lawyers’ fees, which may be brought against CHS for loss, costs, or damages suffered by the client or anyone for whom the client is at law responsible: (a) occasioned or caused wholly or in part by any act or omission of the client or anyone for whom it is in law responsible (b) occasioned or caused wholly or in part by any act or omission, failure of or non-performance by any Provider with whom the client is dealing. Such obligation to indemnify and save harmless will survive the termination or expiration of any agreement between CHS and the client. CHS encourages all clients to familiarize themselves with the refund and liability policies of all Providers.
It is also advisable to seek specific information on the use of products, the requirements of good design and construction practices and requirements of the applicable building codes before undertaking a construction project. Clients may wish to consult the instructions of manufacturers with respect to construction products and speak with and retain consultants with appropriate engineering and/or architectural qualifications or otherwise qualified industry professionals and appropriate municipal and other authorities with respect to issues of design and construction practice.
Clients should always review and comply with specific requirements of the B.C. Building Code, Vancouver Building By-Laws, and any other applicable governance on each construction project. Nothing contained herein or provided by CHS shall be construed as an endorsement of any particular product or proprietary building system.
Nothwithstanding any of the foregoing or anything else contained herein, the liability of CHS, its employees, volunteers, heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns shall be limited to the monetary value paid for the services of CHS.
